GENERAL ------- - Task-Switching (such as using ALT-TAB) may produce undesirable effects and cause game instability. It is recommended to not switch out of the game while playing. General Video Problems - Screenmode ---------- - to run GTA2 in a window, you must be running Windows with a 16-bit desktop (i.e. 65536 colours).

On some video cards, you may find that you have to change the desktop to 16-bit even to run the game full-screen. You can do this by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting 'Properties' then selecting the 'Settings' tab and choosing a 16-bit 'High Colour' colour palette. DirectX ------- - you may find that the game says you have an inadequate version of DirectX even though you have installed DirectX 8.1 (which is the minimum version required). If this happens, simply re-install DirectX 8.1.

Video Drivers ------------- - if you experience video problems, it may be necessary to upgrade the video drivers on your system. This is what the readme says if you look closely by the first few lines, it works fine on both windows XP/Vista/7 and 8. I've used all and yes, I am one of the few people who like the new windows 8:P If it doesn't though, Search the Rockstar forums, I can't help you, Sorry.

It is really fun to play Ctp, but the game has a couple big flaws. 1.An exploit glitch that has been rising in popularity is using the remote bomb to glitch into walls. Many people use it (including me) and camp inside a wall with the swag.I'd also like to say i was the one who pretty much discovered it.
